Talc Legal Private Limited was founded by Advocate S. N. Tiwari, who has spent over thirty years helping clients navigate the legal system — through civil disputes, criminal proceedings, family matters and other lawful causes.

The approach is deliberately unglamorous: understand the matter properly, explain where you actually stand, and then do the work. Clients are told what is likely, not what is comforting.

The chambers act for individuals and for businesses, from first notice through to hearing, and advise at the earlier stage too — when a dispute can often still be contained.

Common questions

How do I know whether I need a lawyer?
If you have received a notice, a summons, or an FIR mentions your name, speak to an advocate before you reply to anything. Many matters are decided by what was said or signed in the first week — often before anyone thought a lawyer was necessary.
What should I bring to a first meeting?
Any notice, summons or order you have received; agreements, deeds or receipts relevant to the dispute; identity proof; and a plain written sequence of what happened, with dates. If documents are missing, come anyway — do not delay the meeting to assemble a perfect file.
What areas of law does the practice cover?
Civil, criminal, family and corporate matters, together with other lawful causes. If a matter falls outside what the chambers handle, you will be told so directly rather than taken on.
Will what I share stay confidential?
Yes. Communications between an advocate and a client, made for the purpose of obtaining legal advice, are privileged under Indian law. That protection applies from the first consultation, whether or not you go on to engage the chambers.
What happens after I engage the chambers?
The papers are reviewed, the position is explained to you in plain terms, and the immediate steps and their timeline are set out. You are told who is doing what, and what the realistic range of outcomes is.
